The first Sombath Somphone public lecture was held as part of the Chulalongkorn University Right Livelihood Summer School in Bangkok, Thailand on 02 August.
Ng Shui Meng, spouse of Sombath Somphone, gave opening remarks, followed by Lahpai Seng Raw, Magsaysay Laureate and founder of the Metta Development Foundation, who spoke about ASEAN responses to historic and contemporary social challenges.
